BBC TV Presenter creates a uniquely modern country look with a kitchen from Kitchen Stori!

Television Presenter Helen Skelton took on a broken house during a time of lockdowns and local restrictions, however, that didn't stop her from achieving her aim of creating a uniquely modern country look for her home. 

Helen shopped local and unearthed fantastic suppliers to help her bring her vision to life. One of the suppliers enlisted was our approved Kitchen Stori retailer, Yorkshire based company Meilora KBB Ltd. Helen sourced Meiloria KBB through Instagram and instantly hit it off with husband and wife duo, Leon and Kelly Roden.

Opting for the timeless, traditional Belgravia inframe kitchen range, Helen put her own modern spin on it by fusing industrial styling  and the outcome was stunning! The chosen colour palette was simple; Deep Forest was the dominant shade used throughout alongside quirky features such as the brass island panels and splashback to create something truly bespoke.

When it came to creating her dream kitchen, Helen wanted a social space for her family to enjoy, so a large island was a must for her. Leon and Kelly delivered just that alongside an array of fabulous design features such as bench seating, an integrated wine cooler and tall triple panel doors to house solid oak drawers and internal solid oak shelving.
