Green Kitchen Designs That You’ll Love

16th November 2022 | Inspiring Interiors

Green kitchens are having a moment! Not only are they on-trend but with the right styling, you can create a beautiful and timeless space. Whether you are after a modern or more contemporary kitchen, we will have a style and shade of green to suit you!

Use a two-tone design to transform your kitchen space

Two-tone kitchens will never go out of style! Whether you are opting for a contemporary or a more classic design, a colour duo with any green hue will adapt to suit any aesthetic..

Incorporating two-tone cabinets will enhance the space and take your kitchen design to the next level. Consider a contrasting colour for your island unit to create a real focal point.

Focus on creating a warm & bright space

You can create a bright and fresh kitchen space by using subtle natural colours like Willow and Taupe Grey, Kitchen Stori exclusive paint shades. View our standard paint palette here

White is one of our easiest ways to add brightness to any space! It can transform your space, and make it feel bigger than it actually is. Try adding white to the walls, counters, and ceiling to open up your space.

The earthy colour palette of Willow and Taupe Grey is complimented with a white worktop and walls, adding brightness to the overall look.

Get Creative!

If you’re looking for inspiration on how to be creative with your new kitchen space, then this one is for you. BBC Television Presenter and Strictly Come Dancing contestant, Helen Skelton achieved hers in a truly unique way.

She shopped local and unearthed fantastic suppliers to help her bring her unique vision to life. One of the suppliers enlisted was our approved Kitchen Stori retailer, Yorkshire based company Meilora KBB.

Helen opted for the timeless, traditional Belgravia Inframe kitchen range, putting her own modern spin on it by fusing industrial styling and the outcome was stunning! The chosen colour palette was simple; Deep Forest was the dominant shade used throughout alongside quirky features such as the brass island panels and splashback to create something truly bespoke.

Play about with different textures

Your kitchen is where you spend most of your time, so it's important to make sure it feels like your home. Adding kitchen wall texture is one of the best ways to add interest and dimension to your space. The easiest way to achieve this is by adding faux brickwork or wood panelling.

When you're looking for the right accessories and design materials, it's important to consider both style and functionality. However, what about practicality and durability? Wall panelling is not only beautiful and super on trend at the minute, but it can also be a very practical option for your kitchen.

The Harborne range in Heritage Green showcases this perfectly using natural materials for the wall panelling which provides a magnificent contrast with the deep rich hues of Heritage Green.
