The global colour experts, Pantone, have announced their Colour of the Year 2024, Peach Fuzz (PANTONE 13-1023). Soft and welcoming, this shade encourages you to ‘embrace the warmth.’

Latrice Eiseman, Executive Director of Pantone Colour Institute™ comments, “In seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearnings for closeness and connection, we chose a colour radiant with warmth and modern elegance. A shade that resonates with compassion, offers a tactile embrace, and effortlessly bridges the youthful with the timeless.

A Heartfelt Hue

Going into 2024, it is important to find moments of respite and human connection amid the busyness of modern life. Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2024 expresses the desire to be close to those we love and savour every moment.

Peach Fuzz is a velvety tone that captures our desire to nurture, bringing a feeling of kindness and tenderness. Nestled between pink and orange, Peach Fuzz is quietly sophisticated with a gentle lightness that is understated yet impactful. Communicating a message of caring and sharing, this shade highlights the feeling of sanctuary and stillness. Peach Fuzz is the perfect colour to help soften a bold colour to bring balance to your space, such as a statement painted wall paired with a Heritage Green kitchen.

Style Statement

Introducing Peach Fuzz into your home can create a contemporary yet welcoming atmosphere. Promoting feelings of gentle warmth, this subtle shade infuses our personal spaces with a comforting presence, through home décor, a painted wall, or an accent within a pattern.

Strike a balance with your choice of colour in your home, Peach Fuzz can be easily paired for cabinetry, walls, and accessories. Lick’s Orange 05 Matt is a similar shade to Peach Fuzz, or you could avail of Dulux’s colour match service to get a perfect match for your walls or ceiling. Add a subtle softness to your space with a painted statement wall, paired with a bold kitchen colour, such as Heritage Green or Parisian Blue.

For kitchen cabinetry or complementary furniture, you can avail of STORI’s Colour Match Service where we can match any RAL (European standard) or BS (British Standard) paint swatch. We offer this service via our retailers on the following ranges: Aldana, Arrington, Belgravia, Clifden, Ellesmere, Florence, Georgia, Harborne, Jacobsen, Jefferson, Madison, Strada Matte, Tavola, Wakefield, Winslow, and Zola Matte.

Soft & Subtle

For a more subtle pop of colour, opt for a patterned wallpaper to add more depth to your design, like geometric prints, delicate flowers, or fruity peaches. Peach Fuzz can be used throughout your space from abstract artwork hung on your walls to soft furnishings such as cosy curtainsrugs or accent cushions to pull your colour palette together.

This soft shade will add an element of warmth and gentle lightness to your home, creating an inviting space in any room. For more interior inspiration download our brochure or view our Real Stories to see how you can be bold with your colour palette.
